Genuinely important to know: genuinely worth knowing: a worn Mokka engine mount often shows up as a clunk on gear changes or noticeable vibration at idle rather than an obvious failure — worth diagnosing which specific mount is at fault (a pry-bar check with the engine running is a common technique) before buying a full replacement set unnecessarily.

Vauxhall Mokka Engine Mount: What It Does

Engine mounts secure the engine and transmission to the chassis while absorbing vibration and movement, preventing that vibration from transferring directly into the cabin. Most versions of the Mokka use several mounts working together — typically at least one on each side of the engine plus a torque mount — and a single failed mount can throw off the whole assembly's balance.
